Hey, I'm Allison! I'm the owner of Unorthodox Salon and I specialize in brunettes, reds, dimensional lived-in color, handtied extensions, and custom precision haircutting.

I am originally from Ohio and moved to the upstate over five years ago. Although my family is entirely back in Ohio, Greenville has become my new home. Although my first career as a school counselor ended after 5 years, I have absolutely loved pursuing my passion for the hair industry. I've built my business and clientele from the ground up, and currently work part time behind the chair and travel as an independent educator.

I am an award-winning winning stylist with numerous recognitions and nominations in various beauty magazines, publications, and international competitions.

I am a dog mom to Finn and Penny. Finn is a 6 year old English Setter and Pitbull mix and Penny is a 2 year old purebred English Setter. Finn is a registered therapy dog so you can find him roaming around at the salon keeping everyone company.

I own my own home, love to travel, and am a big foodie! Outside of the salon, you can find me reading mystery or fiction books, spending time with friends, working on backend salon work and social media, or listening to true crime podcasts.
