Hey, I'm Allison! I'm the owner of Unorthodox Salon and Suites, and The Sanctuary headspa. I specialize in brunettes, reds, dimensional lived-in color, handtied extensions, and custom precision haircutting.

I am originally from Ohio and moved to the upstate in 2018. My family is entirely back in Ohio, but Greenville has become my new home over the years. Although my first career as a school counselor ended after 5 years, I have absolutely loved pursuing my passion for the hair industry since 2011. I've built my business and clientele from the ground up and currently work part time behind the chair and travel educating other stylists all over.

I am an award-winning winning stylist with numerous recognitions and nominations in various beauty magazines, publications, and international competitions. I am also on the Fancy Scissors team, and an Areté Artist.

I am a dog mom to Finn and Bronx and cat mom to Baker. Finn is a registered therapy dog so you can find him roaming around at the salon keeping everyone company.

I own my own home and live with my husband Jeremy. I love to travel, and am a big foodie! Outside of the salon, you can find me reading mystery or fiction books, spending time with friends, working on backend salon work and social media, or listening to true crime podcasts.
